Dr. Sameh Wagih is an accomplished Egyptian physician whose career spans clinical cardiology, internal medicine and regional medical leadership. He began his professional journey as a cardiology resident in a military medical hospital in Egypt, before transitioning into roles of increasing responsibility in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. Since January 2021, he has served as Director of Medical Affairs for Viatris in Egypt and North Africa, guiding strategy and scientific collaboration across the cardiometabolic domain.
With degrees in Medicine and a specialty in Cardiovascular Science from Cairo University, Dr. Wagih brings together rigorous clinical experience, scientific insight and a broad regional perspective. His work focuses on bridging cardiovascular health, metabolic wellness and longevity practices—promoting evidence-based interventions that advance patient care beyond traditional disease-management.
